The project employs three layers of lighting working together. Diffused ambient lighting evenly illuminates the icons and frescoes, creating visual coherence throughout the interior. Accent lighting emphasizes spatial depth and architectural details. Low-power sources with minimal optical control highlight the relief and texture of the enamel mosaics, allowing the gold and glass elements to shimmer naturally.
Warm white light sources with a high color rendering index (CRI) at 2800K and 2100K preserve the authentic color relationships of the mosaics, frescoes and gilded surfaces, recreating the effect of natural daylight.
